Tips On How To Take Care Of Your Hair Naturally

By

Cutting down the salon treatment costs to almost a fraction, here are some natural tips on how to take care of your hair at home.

It's not just about money here but these tips are for those many women and men who would appreciate getting treatments conducted in your home in privacy. Don't get scared if suddenly beginning to read this gives you a visual of Lucy Ricardo from the episode in which she wrecks out her hair that too just before she is about to step out for a big night.

Waxing of mustache or eyebrow comes first. We would advise to ask a friend to help on this one. Any drug store sells Depilatory wax that could be heated with the help of a microwave or crock pot that is filled with water. The wax need not be hot, but warm. Gently press the cheesecloth placing it on the applied layer of wax applied on the unwanted hair. After a few minutes the wax will harden, immediately remove the strip. Don't pull too slowly, it might get irritating.

The next in line is conditioning. Though warm olive oil is an option, you can get containers or packets of deep or cholesterol conditioning formulas. Apply the chosen conditioner on your hair and wrap around a slightly warmed towel around your head. Relax while the towel is there with some coffee. Then wash your hair, though if you have used oil then shampoo or else just rinse.

Highlights are next on the list. If you are changing the color of your hair completely then head to a salon, but if all you need is to add on a glossy sheen on to your hair, you can do it yourself. Natural process would be to apply a batch of mix up of lime juice and sit under the sunrays for a bit. However, the kits available for hair painting are good enough too.

Maintaining long nails is easy to do at home too, so you save on money. Facials too can be done from ingredients available from your fridge. Try a mask made up of mashed avocado for moisturizing, tired eyes would love some cucumber and to decrease oil use egg white.

Styling your hair is the most important, so ask a friend to help. Buy hot rollers along with some styling gel. Try different looks like cornrows or French braid. Short hair can be made to look full of volume by using small rollers or spiking them up. Accessorize with barrettes and beads. Buying such accessories increase the variety of looks you can try. Local book stalls or libraries have variety of books that on hair styling. It's a good idea to arrange for a hair styling party and exchange knowledge on the subject with friends. It is a great start for having your own home salon in the making.
