For taking good care of scalp and hair, read on.
Are your scalp and hair healthy?
When we are in our teens we spend hours in front of the mirror styling our hair in different ways but when we become adults we slowly begin to not just appreciate but accept our hair type. Whether or not you accept the type of your hair, even if you don't like it you have to take care of it anyway.
Like all other things are different from person to person, so is the type of hair. Scalps too can be dry, normal or oily. Make sure you use mild shampoo with warm water when washing your hair, it shouldn't be too cold or too hot.
We all experiment with new shampoos and after a few such stunts we all come to the conclusion that a big label or big price tag does not guarantee that it will do good to your hair. We recommend that not so expensive shampoos which promise that they wash the dirt and oil are generally the ones that do their job best.
Never use your nails but your fingertips to mildly scrub the scalp while applying any product. Just shampooing is enough if you have a habit of washing your hair on a daily basis. To make your hair shine make sure you thoroughly rinse your hair after the shampooing, so all the soap is out.
Now coming to the conditioners, which we think are an invention by the cosmetic industry for their own benefit. Don't abuse your hair if they are dried or dull. Just a mild shampoo and frequent washes would do the trick.
Don't abuse your hair with perms, or curling irons and not even blow dryers. Your hair needs a break. Your hair too follows the simple logic of what goes around comes around, you take care of it and it looks and feels great. We would advise you using a conditioner if you like the after effect. All a conditioner ends up doing is it creates a coat over each shaft to make the hair look silkier, softer and lie flat.
Blow drying hair obviously causes harmful results and the cosmetic experts thought there is a need to create products to lessen the after effects of blow drying.
Once a while give your hair some breathing space and let it dry with natural air, or wait for a longer period of time between washing and blow drying, so the use of hair dryer is minimized. Let the hair fall in a natural way, keeping this in mind style it.
Dandruff and seborrhea dermatitis are some of the scalp problems some of you would be facing. Solving these problems is a process, you need to visit a local drug store to find a product that would help reduce and slowly eliminate it. Another tip for keeping your scalp healthy is to massage it while you shampoo it.
