Mandira Bedi

Born on the fifteenth day of April in 1972, in a family based in Mumbai speaking the Punjabi dialect was a beautiful girl Mandira Bedi. Cathedral & John Connon High School was from where she finished her schooling.

Just after beginning her job at an ad-agency called Ogilvy & Mather that she was offered a role that on the silver screen in Shanti, that also gave her a role in 'Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahoo Thi'.

She is very passionate about sports and live cricket, was a dream come true when Mandira was offered to compère the 'Extra Innings' on Sony. A rise in viewership all across the globe was seen when Mandira cut through the male-dominated world of cricked with her line of designer sarees. Mandira, the wholesome girl with a fresh face, Saree-clad, fresh-face and svelte that she is was a fresh breathe of air for viewers.

Satya Paul, the famous designer put together 50 different cricket-themed Sarees like one with cricketer's signatures, one with Sport headlines from newspapers, animated players, mini flags that of participating teams, and many more.

Mandira had a dramatic wedding in 1999, on the day of love, Valentine's Day with the film director of Bollywood, Raj Kaushal. They reside in Bandra, Mumbai.

She's right now shooting for 'Dus Kahaniyan' but has in the past also acted in her husband's flick 'Shaadi ka Ladoo'. She likes playing negative shades like she played in 'Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', but casting directors think her face is too sweet for them. Mandita was a part of 'Fame Gurukool' also a sitcom called 'Papa Ban Gaya Hero' and is an anchor for the Set Max World Cup 2007 for cricket.

There is an auction on currently for the range of designer sarees that she has flaunted in the cricket tournament off late.
