By Hustler
Read on for suggestions and tips on styling hair in layers.
The most simple and versatile hairdo of recent times is the layered cut. Although it's not been all time favorite. The layered hair look is preferred by many stylists because of easy maintenance, versatility and looks great. The other advantage is layers hairdo can be both short and long.
Wetting the hair is a primary step for starting the process of giving a layered hairdo. Make sure the hair is not dripping but damp. Second step is to make sections of your hair and leave around an inch or half free along towards the hairline. The seven sections include the top, right crown, left crown right nape, left nape, right side and left side. Bring these sections of hair together differently and use clips to keep the sections together.
Leave open the first section that is on the top of your head and then make sure you check how long you desire the length to be starting from the tip of your nose as the measuring point. Make sure you glide a cut around an inch wide depending on how long you need the length of hair to be below the nose. Make sure you keep in to account that once your hair dries it will be shorter than what you see when it is wet. After achieving the desired length on the sides and front, it is not time to set your hands on the hair backwards.
Deciding on what length you want your hair to be, measure from the centre of back of your neck. As a guide, you may use the length you have cut the sides at, which should help you cut in line with the previous one. Stop at the ears like you did previously, and work towards the side of the head coming from the centre. Once you have made sure that the lengths of the hair sections on the back and front are same you can let loose the hair in the nape section.
Comb down all the hair in the nape before you begin to cut it. At an angle separate the hair in the section beginning from the middle of the head. Using the length of the already cut section now start to cut the hair that was clipped at the nape. To get the same
Cut the remaining sections of hair in a similar fashion, if need be wet the hair length of hair all across make sure you include a few strands of the previously cut section to the new section. To finish and finally achieve the cut after finishing both sides, now let loose the hair that was on the crown.at regular intervals. Make sure you comb uncut sections of hair before you cut them. Sides need to be worked starting from the centre at the back of your neck of the head. Once you are done run a comb through hair. You will end up looking great with this new layered hairdo.
